Well, are you aiming to upgrade from a car to a boat?

funwheeldrive 05-11-2017 06:31 PM

*Automatic transmission only*

No thanks.

No thanks.

Do not let the "automatic" scare you. You would soon forget that manuals even exist.

Agree with Tcoat. modern day AT is great. Twin have proven that (for me)... Love the LC look as well and Toyota have put some good amount of technology.

For me, not sure LC is a upgrade. All these gizmo is taking the "fun" of driving. These automotive companies bring out high techs and make the car go faster, safer &/or powerful... but result is a very dull driving experience. Look at R35. Without a doubt that Godzilla is FAST! But is it because of the driver? No, driver factor doesn't even come to calculation til actual GT or other racing. Beginner driver can drive R35 like driving one in Gran Turismo or some game feeling and drive it fast. Same concept w LC, Toyota put so much technology into it, driver doesn't even feel how much power it has or how fast they're going.

So in the end, LC is downgrade for me. I rather have a car that I have to earn to go fast. I control the car, not car control me.

...but that's just my 2yen

You can turn all those gizmos off though and actually drive. You will probably die a fiery death but you could do it.

Sadly. LC won't not allow full assist off. It can get close to it, but it won't all the assist off. Same goes w R35 & few other hyper cars.

To prevent at least a few fiery deaths.

It sounds cold-blooded saying this, but survival of fittest... as long as it doesn't drag other ppl to it, I dot see much problem ppl dying from not respecting these killing machines. Just don't like owners complaining "Oh this R35 (or other high hp cars) doesn't have enough power, so I NEED more power." I'm like try driving 200hp car without any assist and can push it hard. Cuz I highly doubt they'll be saying that they need more power... but again, this is just my rant.

Tell that to my left foot.

I got passed by one of these yesterday. It's a beautiful design. Nice size for a coupe too. Closer to the 86 than a Challenger or something unwieldy.

I can't get past that horrendous harelip.
No. Just... no.

Def the LC500.

LC500 or 6-Series Coupe?

6-Series Coupe.

Granted the 6-series coupe is dead. We do have the 8-series to look forward to, apparently.

In a fictitious world, if I had $100K + lying around I'd just get a GT350R.

This thing looks insane, but I am kind of shocked by the 5 cubic feet in the trunk considering the car is relatively large. I guess you could take out the full size spare.... But if you have the money I could never fault you. You will turn a lot of heads.
