Spencer Fabrications is no more. He has closed down shop. I was also trying to buy one from him last month when he broke the news to me. He suggested I try Weir Performance. Talk to Spence Weir.

Wow, I wonder what happened.

Contact Weir. Hes good, just communicate what you want. To my knowledge he wont put everything together for you, but if you have a clue on what you want, you can order through him.

This^^. Highly recommend calling him (as opposed to email). Great guy to talk to and I'm sure he will take care of you.

Reach out to Neal @ theracersline...He's a direct link to Weir. Had a 4.56 F/D built by Weir, showed up @ theracersline, and in 3 hrs. was on my way home :party0030:.:happyanim::bow: Oh...by the way, this went in a '16 auto and love it

@vintagemxer - why the Weir final drive instead of the Cusco/Toyota one. Is it louder than stock? How high are you revving at 75mph now?

Rougenite 05-12-2017 01:05 AM

It's cheaper. I paid 600 and some change for the FD and everything i could possibly need for install. Add 200 or ado for another carrier.

phrosty 05-12-2017 01:40 AM

Damn, that's a shame. Just 6 months ago when he built my diff, he was moving to a larger shop. I guess things didn't work out.

BlaqkHavok 05-13-2017 12:17 AM

the thing is, that the info and setups he had available was a nice all in one ordering package... so far i know im looking for the FD from the is300, but looks like he was using the supra ring and pinion, and also had beefier carrier bearings, and some fat bushings... i dont know if those were custom made by spencer or if they were a component from another car being applied to his builds... seamed like he addressed all of the possible issues... so now to try and duplicate the parts list and have some one do the build.. (like Weir)
