will this wheel and tire combo fit with stock suspension without rubbing?
hello guys i was looking to get some new rims and tires and i was wondering if this combo would work with stock suspension
18x9.5 +35 245/45r18 if anyone knows please let me know thanks :) |
u have to go with 245/35. it will fit without any issue. but it will poke out pass the fender in the front. unless you dial in negative camber with camber bolts

You could run camber plates instead of gaining camber at the bottom of the strut. There are HVT non-raising plates for sale in the classifieds right now.

Camberplates often come with noticeable NVH issues. For me with stock shocks at high enough level to revert to stock (actually to group-n) top mounts. Though probably not an issue for someone in country with public roads of better state.

I'm running 8.5 same offset and there isnt even 2 fingers between rim and stock spring in the front. You could prob get away with it. I'm also running 255 rears without any issues, but only 225 in the front.

Very similar specs to what you want http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118306

If you run a 245/45/18 that's almost 10% more overall diameter compared to stock, which will quite noticeably hurt your acceleration. |
