AP Racing Sprint kit unboxing

If you are curious what comes with the AP Racing Sprint kit for your BRZ/FRS/86, here you go. I have to admit, I was skeptical because this thing is so expensive, but the parts and quality are top notch. Hard to beat saving 10lbs per corner as well.

Also, if you are running Hawk HPS brake pads, I did find the ones that fit the AP Racing kit (per their cross-reference on their website). Plus, they are only $80 bux for a front set.

And here are the rear pads that would go in the stock rear calipers for a matching set.

Nice. I need some new rotors and pads soon. I was thinking of going with the solid rotors and HPS pads instead of J hook rotors.

What's the cheapest brake pad/rotor combo for a daily setup for these calipers?

Not sure about the rotor but I think for pads, the HPS are about as cheap as they get. They are a good street/auto cross type of pad with not much dusting or noise.

I see. I have the STi Brembo setup and after two years and getting better at the track I can finally feel the brake bias. It's just hard for me to justify buying this kit when I can get pads for the brembos on rock auto for about 20 dollars in the front. Plus the car doesn't live on the track. I bet these brakes are amazing though. The more and more I look at these brakes the more and more I want them. :party0030::party0030::party0030:

Just had my first race on these brakes. Very nice indeed. The response and feedback is definitely improved, which may be from the SS lines as well.

I'll be uploading the installation video to my YouTube channel either end of this week or Monday.
