Clutch Fork Failures?
I keep searching (even google) on the failure rate of the clutch forks and what type of pressure plates were being used at the time.
I just got a new clutch/FW/pressure plate put in...but the shop didnt put in the Velox fork. (May have been partly my fault) I really dont want to take the damn thing in next week to have it put in (and another couple hundred bucks) If I can just forego doing it right now. |
Start/add a poll.
If you decide to sell, I'll buy it. |

I'm still convinced the stock fork is ok unless the TOB starts binding. THAT is much more likely. |

If you already have the part just hold onto it until the factory unit fails. Then all you have to do is install the velox shift fork

Its like 30-40% more effort to push in than stock now. |

If it ever starts binding even a little, get in there and clean off the TOB & snout. |
