Rear upper control arms with spherical bearings

I've been looking for a while and I can't find any great options for rear upper control arms with spherical bearings. This will be for a car running 265 slicks in NASA TT4. I have SPL for all other bearings.

racerX no longer makes their control arms with spherical bearings.

I can replace stock bushings with spherical ones, but that is a huge pain and fairly expensive as well as time consuming.

Parts Shop Max seems to have a set including hubs for around $850.

P2M has a set for $450 but I can't find any information about them. I have no idea if they are junk or safe to use.

One other company has them for $1400 which is really hard to justify.

Any opinions on the Part Shop Max ones?

Any opinions on the P2M ones?

Thanks

I've never used these, but found a reference to them here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...6&postcount=10

Here's a link to the part:

Yeah, those are the $1,400 ones I found. They look good, but questionable for that price.

I'd just do the bushings. I feel like it would be easy because you can take the arm out before catching the bushings on fire.

Contact @CounterSpace Garage and order the Cusco spherical bearing kit for rear upper control arms - I got mine from them and they're much cheaper than the other options you're currently looking at.

PM sent regarding RacerX control arms with spherical bearings.

TRAKRAVN 04-27-2017 09:07 PM

I dropped off a set of OEM rear upper arms to ESM Race to make some spherical bearing to replace in the stock bushings last week. That will complete their kit for ALL of the suspension bushings to be converted to bearings.

Give them a call to generate some interest so they can get it to market a little sooner.

Having had their RUCA and spindles for my 240sx in the past I have been waiting for this kit for the 86 since they started the design. I have their fronts and all their suspension parts and its worth it at twice the price.

For anyone else looking for rear UCA w/ spherical bearings, I reached out to RacerX again today and they still haven't received enough interest to justify building them. Would be nice but looks like RaceFab or MSI are the only options currently.

The cusco part numbers for the spherical bearings for the rear upper arms are

965 464 LV - front
965 464 IV - rear

If you order 1 each of those you get 4 bearings for both the arms. 240 each msrp.

Since I have the catalog open here are the other part numbers for the spherical bearings

965 464 AV - Front control arm F
692 464 BV - Front control arm R
692 464 HV - Rear LCA inner (outer mount in upright is already a bearing)
692 464 NV - Rear trailing arm F (rear mount in upright is already a bearing, I think)
692 464 JV - Toe link inner

Whether cusco usa or any dealers have any of this I don't know, but they can get stuff fairly quickly if you need it.

We sold many sets of sphericals depending on what the client is looking for.
