P3 cars

Just installed a p3 cars multi gauge and my oil temp is displaying -38 degrees fahrenheit... Any ideas what could be wrong?

Unplug the OBD replug with the engine off.
With the engine running step through each of the settings and note the values.
This should show whether the unit is working properly as the information is supplied by the OBD system.

I'm having connection issues with my OBDII port. Anyone hear about any issues with it before?
