I SEARCHED FIRST I PROMISE *PLASTIC BAG NOISE*

For the last week I've had this sound from just about under the cabin while accelerating

It's the same sound that a plastic bag makes in the wind when it's caught in something.

So I THOUGHT it was a bag. Jacked the car up and got underneath, found nothing. Checked all my mud flaps and wheel wells, properly fastened.

So I'm at a loss now.

Exhaust leak?

is it only during acceleration under load? do you notice while coasting or decelerating?

Both now that you mention it

Does it sound like your mother-in-law?

Literally picked the whole car up. I even took both skids off.

Like I know you get a bit more noise with headers. But this is more than that normal amount

Well, you mentioned a modified exhaust and a possible leak. That's the next place I'd suggest you suspect.

He said "plastic bag" sound not an "old bag" sound.

If my mother-in-law reads this message, I'm going to find a cane planted uncomfortably in my nether regions :scared0012:

Are the windows open? Could it be in the cabin?

A hole? Can you get a pic? I am curious how you got a hole.

They didn't take a pic. I gotta pick it up and see. Apparently one of the hangars at the joint between front and mid pipe snapped and pulled a hole in the exhaust.

Soon as I get it in the air I'll get a good look
