aftermarket headunit and USB /AUX
 

For the people who have been installing aftermarket headunits, where have you been putting the usb / aux wires from the aftermarket unit?

This is, if you didn't try re-wiring it to the stock usb/aux wires.

The places that i have thought about were the glovebox or what one of the DIY's did and made a hole in the center console.
The glovebox is not as accessible and i dont want to be drilling, I was thinking about removing the stock USB / AUX plug, and running the aftermarket unit's wire through that hole, but that would leave a gap.

Any ideas or suggestions? Im not confident enough to splice into the factory USB / AUX plugs.
