squeaking low speeds

Hey guys,

I have been noticing a squeak at low speeds only if a gear is engaged. Once I kick in the clutch the sound is gone

It sounds like the crickets but the chirping is a little faster as you accelerate.

Not sure if its related, but I noticed this more after I installed my nameless midpipe. :S

Almost like it could be a tin/metal sound that goes with the sound of the engine? Mine makes a weird sound too, i can hardly explain it, but i think it's just the exhaust, much more pronounced when i installed headers.

Maybe when the engine is under load (twisting), a part of the exhaust is rubbing against something.

Since you mentioned it goes away when the clutch is pressed in, do you think it may be a rotational type metallic sound? Maybe like something getting sharpened?

ya I am going to get it checked. Ill let you guys know what it is. I think its rubbing but not certain. Hope it wont bust anything from too much rubbing :P
