FS: OEM Coilovers

Used for 50,000km. Only 2 winters on them.

They are dirty, I'm sorry.

Fully functional, no damage, no blown shocks.

Recently installed aftermarket coil overs.

Coilover refers to the type of suspension. coil-over-shock. these are indeed coilovers.

free bump lol

Like... it's in the name. Springs coiled over shocks.

what else would it be? Only aftermarket parts qualify for the title? Is this a "Only Apple has Facetime and no other video chat is Facetime"argument?

Tokay444 04-19-2017 09:46 AM

They're struts, by definition. Not coilovers.

The rears are struts?

By definition:

A coilover is an automobile suspension device. "Coilover" is short for "coil spring over shock". It consists of a shock absorber with a coil spring encircling it.
Technically macpherson struts are still coilovers in the literal sense because the spring is circled around the shock. They're not a separate shock and spring.

No.

By definition, a "coilover" is short for "coil spring over shock". All this means is you have a coil spring literally sitting over your shock or strut. Other suspension systems such as leaf springs, keep the shock and spring separate.
Yep.

SOLD.

Mods please close before this turns into a war over the definition of a coilover.

😔
