It won't do anything. If it's the TOB, only replacement will help. If it's the fork pivot, then any temporary elimination of the squeak/creak will have been because the fork was jostled around a bit.

I got TOB replaced because dealer thought was outspec (?). But was covered under warranty so why not. But i got that sound, sometimes do sometimes dont. I can live with it as long dont break anything. |
