Key Fob stopped working
 

Hey Forum,

Just need troubleshooting suggestions.

Noticed my key fob stopped working, easy solution buy a new battery.
BUT,
I pulled my spare key fob which was NEVER used, and it didn't work also.
It's been 3 years for both fobs, 1 has been used everyday while the other one only has been used at the dealership to make sure it worked.

Any suggestions on what to look for? Is it a potentially a car issue with the sensors?

I'm getting a battery after work today.

Actually both have been used almost the exact same amount. The one tucked away has still been sending out a signal looking for the car so even though the buttons may never have been pushed the battery has had almost the same drain on it for 3 years.
Let us know if the battery fixes it.

Yeah bro, same here I just got a new battery and both started working again
