Does Aftermarket Parts for FR-S/BRZ/GT86 From Previous Years Fit The 2017 GT-86?

I'm planning to buy a 2017 Toyota GT-86. Seeing how there are billion types of mods (rocket bunny, boosted, lowered) for previous years on FRS/BRZ/GT86 models, does anyone know if those parts will still fit the new 2017 GT-86? If not, does anyone have a good picture of a modified GT-86 would look like?

Thanks

Aftermarket exhaust? Be more specific in what mods you're asking about. Just my 2 cents ;) 2017 had some changes but it depends on what kind of mods you're asking about.

I haven't done a lot to mine, but I can tell you that the k&n drop in filter that comes up for our car does NOT fit (33-2300). Too wide and I think it's a little short. Stock filter looks like it has more area surprisingly.

I also out on an n1 and it "fits". Not sure if the tips are supposed to be pointing out, but I don't mind it. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...843ff6e800.jpg

The N1 fits like trash regardless of the model year.

I got a 17 86 a couple months ago and like you I've been asking this question a lot. So far I think it's just the intake that's different, so like squirrel mentioned, you can't use a drop in filter. However, most body panels appear to be interchangeable. Boot shape is the same, lights, interior, and exhausts as well.

Automatic can use the old filters for the air box. Manual had a re-designed one. Exhaust area has been changed not everything will fit.
