Even Gears

Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong if my even gears feel like something is misaligned? I have a twm short shifter and perring rear shift bushing.

Felt fine for the past year but this week I started noticing the gears that I pull into were not going in right. When I pull into the gear, it's like the shifter has moved all the way back but the gear still isn't all the way in place so I have to keep pulling on the shifter to get it in. Honestly it feels like I'm bending the shifter to get into place. Odd gears still have that firm positive feeling so I have no idea what it could be.

I think the likely problem is the shifter but I have no idea. Anyone have any other possible diagnosis? I'm going to take the shifter apart this weekend and possibly replace it with stock.

I can also post a video if anyone thinks that would help.

Nevermind. It went in my work parking lot and is now fixed. The collar below the reverse lockout came unscrewed and slid down preventing the shifter from moving properly.
