RocketBunnyV3 Wheel Fitment
I'm currently interested in purchasing a V3 kit for my FR-S. I'm trying to find the correct wheel fitment for the kit since it is wider than the V1/2. I've done some wheel math and wanted to know if anyone had more insight. This is what I've came up with using both the Greddy site for V3 specs and frsproject.com.
I'm wanting to run 18x9.5 in front and 18x10.5 in rear. Greddy site states that the front fender adds +65mm and rear +90mm. Using frsproject, to sit flush with stock setup in 9.5 and 10.5 I'd need an offset of +37/+43. So based off these numbers I think I'd need to get wheels with -28/-47 offset. That seems pretty drastic to me, and I'm looking for any more info out there. Also, I'd like to run 245/35/18 and 275/35/18. Can anyone see any possible fitment issues with all these specs? Any help is greatly appreciated :) |
Why go widebody to fit tires you can basically fit under stock fenders?

No, and I have not seen a completed v3 that didn't have sunken in wheels.
