Clutches for turbos
I just installed a greddy turbo kit for my frs but my clutch started to slip and now I need a new one but idk where to start on which clutches are decent or good for this car. Can anyone help me out.? I'm really trying to get good clutch so I can finally get my car tuned on this turbo.

My clutch has been fantastic. It engages and disengages like Factory but pedal feel is extreme aka v8 heavy. Only good for 300 ftlbs of torque.

I have a comp stage 3 clutch. Heaviest LW flywheel I could find. Insanely grippy and pretty heavy feel. Installed DSS aluminum driveshaft with it. Only chatters in 5th gear low to mid rpm.

I have a stage 3 southbend with stock flywheel and it hooks like crazy

No chatter at all except when the damn AC is on at the light. Absolutely hate the AC in this car

Have about 8kmi on mine full of drift events and hard driving and mines holding up great. I would recommend getting the upgraded clutch fork. Some people including myself have some inconsistent engagement issues as things heat up and the fork flexes a bit due to the heavier pressure plate. |

I have an ORC 400 Series Light clutch and flywheel. It's quiet with perfect pedal feel and no issues that most other people are making excuses for or living with with some other brands.
ORC, OS Giken, Exedy (Stage 1 or Hyper Single) seem to be easy winners for this car |
I have heard great things about southbend. Probably the way I will go here soon. I plan on keeping my stock flywheel.

running OSgiken . works great.
