False Advertising
 

so my dealer called to tell me my car should be arriving next week. i checked the dealers web site to see their inventory and they had the car listed. it also had a $1500 discount applied to the brz so i called the dealer to see if this was true and he said no. they use a 3rd party for their marketing and puts discounts on every car even though they arent supposed to.

should i give the dealer the benefit of the doubt or really push for that price???

WHAT. push for the price. its on the website then.. what the hell. were they going to pull a bait and switch on customers that walk in expecting that discount? What dealer is this? can I see the website

i bet somewhere on the bottom of the site it says "prices subject to change without notice" or "not responsible for errors". did you allready sign any papers agreeing to the price while ordering?

i did not sign anything in regards to the price. there is an agreement of msrp. this the dealer site.

its probably hard to argue for that discount once you already agreed on a price but i would just mention the bbb and such to see what happens

If you're really serious, go there with cash and credit in hand and say you're ready to buy now for the adverised priced. If they say no, point to how these boards black list dealers who over charge thousands over MSRP which is what this one did.
