TRD Member Brace Set, Looking for flange bolt part numbers
2 Attachment(s)
So, I don't know if this is the right place for this. Brief side story (short/long version) I bought a TRD Member Brace Set from another enthusiast. He brought them to UPS to be packaged and shipped. All bars were bubblewrapped and "supposedly" the bolts were as well. When I opened the package, the bars were there but the bolts were not. Now, I contacted seller and he went to UPS and they swear up and down it was in the box. I threw away the bubble wrap after my kids and I unwrapped and verified no bolts. Today was trash day and they are gone. The box is full of the peanuts and we went through and checked as well. Bottom line, no bolts. The only picture on the Internet with the bolts are from a site in Australia that sold a set. I contacted them and they are trying to find someone there that may have it or helping me out with an email to a TRD contact. So now, UPS wants the flanged bolt part numbers to order for me. I told seller I would put out feelers.:sigh:
So my request is, does anyone who like me would have taken pictures of all the TRD Member Brace set parts including the individual wrapped flanged bolts so I can give the part numbers to UPS to order. I attached the only picture I could find on the internet, but as you can see many of the bolts and their numbers are hidden or hard to read. From the Installation sheet (pdf), I already have the #13 x4 M8xP1.25 L=25 and #2 M14xP1.5 L=35. From the Picture I can make out the following part numbers: 91552-L1285 (middle left next to red small brackets) 90105-14163 (long bolts siting on top of silver bolts on right side) 91671-K0825 (top left bolts next to red brackets on top of L1285 bolts) If anyone has all the other part numbers from the baggies, please help me. Otherwise this member brace set is useless. I don't know if it's possible to crossreference the bolts based on their size, but no knowing their material, I would be worried if they are the correct flange bolts. Thanks in advance and I hope there is someone anal retentive like I would have been if I bought new and has a record or picture of all the little baggies and their part numbers... :thanks::thanks::thanks::thanks::thanks::thanks: wulfstan |
Bubba suggests that you just take out the old bolts and go to a hardware store and buy similar bolts, just a little bit longer, to account for the additional thicknesses of some of the brackets.........:iono:
Oooooo ........ but not TRD ......:bonk: humfrz |

Point of fact, not looking for TRD bolts. All the pictured bolts are actually, standard Toyota/Lexus part numbers, just packaged in TRD packaging. And of those 3 pairs of part numbers, they come up on Lexus vehicles. So it's not that they're TRD stamped bolts, I just want the "right" ones. I have the 3 pairs of part numbers, but can't make out the last ones. If it's just a matter of getting similar bolts then I have all the specs, so I need the following: M10×P1.25 L=50 M12×P1.25 L=85 M14×P1.5 L=140 M12×P1.25 L=72 Will Toyota or any hardware store be able to source these out? Sorry, electrical person here...:iono: Thanks for any help... wulfstan |
Just email or call a dealer. They should be able to pull al the part numbers up in a few seconds.

I contacted local US dealership and because this is a TRD Japan part they don't cross reference with the MS300-18001.:sigh: Is there a US dealership that anyone knows that deals quite a bit with TRD parts that may have a contact number/email that I can get this information from. That's why I posted, because I don't have that information. Thanks for your help. wulfstan |

The install instructions have all the bolt specs.

I'm not sure if the dealer parts computer can search by bolt specs.

Yeah, I thought of that, but the manual/installation does not have the grade, just the size and pitch and length... Quote:

@Tcoat may disagree ..... ;) Of course, this is coming from the kid that used a case hardened bolt as a "shear" bolt on the fly wheel in my fathers hay bailer and wrecked it up (yep, I've already told that story). humfrz |
