Backing out of a spot in a parking garage I started going at an angle too soon and got a crunch, these are the results. Any guess on what it's gonna cost and how bad the damage actually is? I feel like I could get by with the fender but I dunno what to really think. It's definitely off angle, and pushed off some. Good doesn't seal correctly now, I'd prefer to not use insurance since I've got a 1k deductible, and even if I had a lower one like 250 I probably wouldn't use it unless the total cost comes out to well over 2k...Which it shouldn't....Right?

First, claim your insurance and see how it goes.
I am no expert but I deal with a lot of car parts, I am looking at probably $700-800 to cost you to fix it, and I couldn't tell what else you break inside the bumper and fender.

Problem is my collision is a grand, so unless this is gonna cost well over 2k I'd rather leave insurance out of it. Could the bumper really be that much? I did a short search and it looked like they were around 250-400 unpainted.

For just the cover yes. What about the fender? Paint? Anything else broken?
Get some appraisals from some local body shops. All you will get here is guesses based on what people pay where they are and that doesn't help you. Here that would be an easy $3,000.

This is not dissimilar to the accident I recently had (OP, see my Owner's Journal for details and photos, its near the end, easy to find).

Mine was not as significant as yours, and it was over $1700 to repair. I believe you've got some hidden damage you don't see unless the photos are deceiving. Look at your hood gap. It appears to have been totally closed up. That means the fender support have been moved and will need to be straightened. Mine were bent the opposite way (twisted outward at the top, inward at the bottom) and wasn't obvious until I noticed my hood gap had opened up and was different than the passenger side.

Obviously your call if you report it or not, but depending on the shop you may be well over $2,000 to repair.

(EDIT: OK didn't see the issues at the door the first time, yea I'd say that support is definitely bent.)

With your fender damage I'd highly recommend calling your insurance

Welp. FML. I'm gonna take some pictures on my lunch and call a body shop here in Orlando and hopefully swing by after work to get a look at it. Just because I'm gonna take some pics also to see if anyone else has any more input here. Crazy that yours was 1700, the only thing i'm holding out hope for is that most of the impact stuff for bumpers is literally in the opposite direction of where i hit

Well, I probably could have gotten it done for less, but someone hit me so I went to the shop my insurance company recommended, and that had a lifetime warranty on the repairs certified by the insurance company. All that adds to the cost.

Again. It doesn't matter what the imputes from here. Nobody here is a professional body person working in your area. You can get quotes without going through insurance. Make sure when you do get the quotes that you make it clear to them you may be paying out of pocket though. Insurance prices and personal prices can sometimes be miles apart.

Very reputable shop came back w this, talked for a good long while about everything, thinks there's like a 10% chance there's some damage underneath he may not be able to see, but everything looks pretty clear cut because of how I hit it. At another checking right now.

Insurance is probably getting their money regardless if I use them right? I'd only be saving 700(there's a discount not showing in the pic).
I imagine my deductible would climb at least 130 per 6 months over the next 3 years because of this.

its probably going to need a headlamp and have some radiator support damage once they get this apart, but its also a florida body shop so they may get it apart and say screw it and glue it back together.

If you do not file a claim then insurance does not get involved and don't get a cent. That is right on the fence where it may be worth while in the long run to just pay out of pocket since it is an at fault incident.
