Rear speakers, problem?

So after messing with the audio setting, I noticed that the rear speakers really effing suck and are very low. I changed the balance to the rear, and barley anything comes out. I did change the audio settings to FRS instead of tc. Anyone else have this issue? I will post fa vid of it tomorrow.

Yep. They suck. IMO a stereo (2 channel) system is what the fr-s has. I'll probably remove mine with the rear seats

Haven't really been paying attention to the "surround" sound - the seat is in the way anyways which is why it seems so weak as far as I'm aware - I haven't sit in the back yet :X

I was going to check out mine today because of the same reason... I can only hear the front speakers but nothing on the back... Was thinking about later buying a kit I saw somewhere online that places the speakers on both sides of the trunk, an amp and some other stuff for about $800 or so, still dont know if its a good idea or not so thats why I'll decide later on when I get more feedback about it.

They are very quiet in the back, for sure, I think I had to set the fade to like R6 before I could hear anything :-/

I noticed it too, good reason to upgrade:D

They are 5 1/4's I think, should be able to get some decent ones for cheap, toss a 4 channel in their you should be good . Unless you wanna go high end then look at focals. Mine will be in as soonas I get the car .

Them aint 5.25's, more like a 3" imitating a 4".

They are a 3.5" speaker in the rear. With the combination of their small size and poor placement, plus them being behind a trim panel, you arte lucky to NOT be able to hear anything.

Best bet if you really want sound back there is to make a baffle and mount a larger speaker back there.

If I could get my hands on a local vehicle to fabricate baffles I'd be all over it but I don't have access to one at this time.
