LS Oil Cooler
Was leaning towards JR radiator/oil cooler, but it seems hose routing would be a pita given the radiator oil inlet/outlet port location...
Anyone else have any ideas? I've seen sandwich plates for LS engines from $99 to $199 thermostatic and not... I have no problems sourcing custom lines locally. I would like NOT to run oil lines to the front of the bumper and place the cooler right there in front of AC condenser.. @CSG Mike mentioned Laminova as a possibility. This is a 99% street car, driven hard, but rarely will go to the track. All ideas are welcomed. |
My radiator was a hand built piece. I used a C&R racing oil cooler that was mounted directly inside one of the endtanks on my radiator. I used an improved racing oil cooler adapter that bolted right to the LS2 oil pan. It was pretty easy and serves two purposes. Heats the oil up, and keeps it cool when it gets up to temp. I haven't seen oil or coolant temps over 215*

I have a ZR-1/LS9 radiator and Oil Cooler setup that I could sell.
