hmm.. pulling the seal apart, both sides, leaking.. sounds like I'll be dealing with this (and the dealer) sooner rather than later.

Well, the folding seal has now produced a wrinkling in the protective coating in the driver side window where it meats the seal at the top... lovely.
Also, anybody in colder weather areas that have freezes frequently. The first time I had it with this car and I ran the defroster full blast to help with the melting, once I got inside after the windshield had somewhat cleared I had large drips coming down INSIDE the car with a good bit of condensation as well on the inside. Anybody else have this happen? |

Went to the San Jose car show recently and while there I looked at the 2014 BRZ window indexing and closing. It seems the 2014 model's windows start from a more closed position (touching approx. half the seal) beforehand so when the door is closed it is much less likely to pull the seal upward. Makes me wonder if Subaru quietly solved the problem on newer models by having the window start from a more closed position.
