hmm.. pulling the seal apart, both sides, leaking.. sounds like I'll be dealing with this (and the dealer) sooner rather than later.

I have the same damn dent! It's only visible in the right light and it has no damage around it like some thing soft was pressed onto till in dented, pretty sure it's transport damage but it's so slight I don't think anyone could do anything to improve it.

My dealer was able to fix the dent using pdr. Paintless dent removal

Well I did get the info on it just in case and I know my dealers PDR guy only comes in on Fridays so I'll see if they can do something about it, it's really not so much a dent as it is a warp? I'll let ya know what they say.

Simply leaning on the car with your palm and a decent amount of pressure will do that, fyi. (e.g. someone looking at your wheels and using the fender to help themselves up)

Well, the folding seal has now produced a wrinkling in the protective coating in the driver side window where it meats the seal at the top... lovely.

Also, anybody in colder weather areas that have freezes frequently. The first time I had it with this car and I ran the defroster full blast to help with the melting, once I got inside after the windshield had somewhat cleared I had large drips coming down INSIDE the car with a good bit of condensation as well on the inside. Anybody else have this happen?

In my case, a showroom frs had the dent in the same place.

I have two little dime sized ones on both sides of the car right above the side windows. You can tell someone was leaning with their right hand and looking through the window. Light weight aluminum panels and all.

Mine was in the front driver side fender. =/ sorry to hear that. Hope it gets taken out cheaply

Finally got around to taking the car in on a Friday and they instantly admitted that it was transport damage, the PDR guy even pointed out it had the same dent on the other side too (less noticeable but not to his trained eyes) unfortunately he was all packed up and ready to leave so they made me an appointment and i'm going back in on Friday next week to get them fixed at no charge to me :) :thumbup:

I really could not see it but then again I didn't have a none dented side to compare to so I guess the less dented one became my default.

Went to the San Jose car show recently and while there I looked at the 2014 BRZ window indexing and closing. It seems the 2014 model's windows start from a more closed position (touching approx. half the seal) beforehand so when the door is closed it is much less likely to pull the seal upward. Makes me wonder if Subaru quietly solved the problem on newer models by having the window start from a more closed position.
