BRZ Coilovers / Summer & Winter

Hey guys! I'm still new to the car scene and all that. I got a 2015 BRZ and bought some wheels a few weeks ago. Now, I'd like to lower my car and I am looking for good coilovers that would be good for Summer and Winter as I could simply raise the car when it comes to Winter. I am in Quebec so winters are pretty rough with a lot of salt being dropped on the roads.

I've seen a post created 2 years ago and it looked like the KW Variant 1 were the go-to coils. I'd still like to know if there are perhaps cheaper coils on the market (below 2k CAD) that would do the job?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Keep in mind if you raise or lower the car you'll likely need a new alignment each time. Typically when people understand how this all ties together they choose to set and forget the ride height.

Definitely pick a set that is made of high quality materials. Driving in the winter, I'm assuming Quebec salts their roads which will make many of the cheaper coils rust like crazy. KWs have an INOX coating over stainless steel, so they are typically a good choice.

no need to go as far as KW for a mild street application. A lot of options well under 2k that will suit you. Make sure to apply anti seize on the coilover before installation and get a set of these covers

or something similar.

Godspeed monomax, best bang for buck eith top hats, I paid 1200. give them a read. Heard they use Japanese parts for critical components, Taiwanese parts for the rest and assembled in the states. Anodized body so 3+ yrs before w rebuild or just buy another set their after.
