@jamal - thanks for the info. RallySport Direct confirmed the Ferodo DS2500 part numbers you listed will work for the PP brakes. Total was $359 including free shipping.
@trippinbillies40 - I know you posted some time ago about the DS2500. So yes, they are available for the '17 Brembo PP brakes.

I contacted 86Speed about ordering the Winmax W3. They were not in stock. 86Speed was nice enough to call Winmax for me, and they have a couple sets of rears, but no front pads to send to dealers right now.

Yes, I run DS2500 on mine. Anything that fits an '04 STI *should* fit this car as the OE pads are the same part number from Subaru.

That article references the OE WRX STI Brembo brake kit swap which has incorrect brake bias for the twins, hence why it's a bad idea for our cars.

The BRZ PP Brembo brake kit being discussed in this thread (and also the CSG Brembo GT kit) uses the same rotors and a similar caliper as the WRX STI but the calipers have adjusted piston sizes to provide correct brake bias for the twins so they will work fine.

I loved them on my '13 FRS, and they've been great for street and autocross duty on my BRZ, but I really left the track feeling like I should just stick with stock pads for street and autocross duty and swap in some buck-nasty track pads for HPDE's. That having been said, the Ferodos didn't fade on me, just didn't have loads of bite to overpower the stickier tires. Overall, they're probably the best "all around" pad you can get IMO.

while i appreciate the attempt at correction the first several words in my original post were pretty clear as to what my attempt was, just a quick little bit of brake knowledge that i was hoping to pass on in a brake conversation.

More like a did you know.... But again thanks next time an :offtopic: would suffice .

SO any pads that fit an STI from the last 10 model years will fit the PP brakes? I am having trouble finding pads that say they fit the BRZ with PP. So it would be nice if I could also look for STI pads instead.
