Traction control warning light
Hey guys
So i was driving today and it was raining pretty bad. I pulled into a carpark looking for parking and i see my traction control warning light is on. It stayed on even after i turned the car off and on a few times. So i connected an odb to it to see what the error is and it came up as " no error codes" and when i unplugged it and started the car the warning light was gone. Any idea why this happened? Most likely the car lost traction due to the wet roads.
Then, the system righted itself. Unless it comes back for no good reason, I wouldn't worry about it. ;) humfrz |
The light should not STAY on. More likely the rain somehow messed with a wheel speed sensor temporarily

auto drift mode?!

Mine comes on all the time but then goes off right away. I would suspect there was some error in the traction control system that kept yours on. Not sure that in and of itself would throw a code with a standard code scanner since those codes are mostly engine/emissions related issues, but I could be wrong.

this is normal and happened to me when I drove in snow. VSC keeps on flashing and then it goes "fk it man im just gonna stay on". Don't worry it will go off by itself eventually.
