Twin Disc Clutch Discussion
I have started the process of purchasing forged internals for the car and found even with my current clutch which should be rated for 345 ft/lbs I have started to slip real bad time to time. I'm looking at the Clutch Master Twin Disc part #15738-TD7S-X.
Anyone here able to give me some insight on this? |
i had probably 5k miles on mine. make a pedal stop to limit the travel because most twin disks require very little pedal travel. i installed a half inch stop where the factory thin rubber stop is. also buy a velox clutch fork, the stock one will bend. other than that, it feels like a twin disk. it makes noise when the clutch is disengaged, pedal is fairly stiff and it grabs hard. but it wont slip. we have made over 820whp so far on the fx725 on an fa20

Clutch Pedal Travel Stop if you need.

ORC also makes quality twin discs.
