Remote lock/unlock not working

Ok guys, so I recently swapped headunits on my FR-S from the stock garbage to a Kenwood DNX6990hd (which I have since replaced with the bespoke unit but thats another story) after doing so, my keys no longer lock/unlock the doors. The dealer tested the remote itself to confirm that the battery is fine and it is sending a signal. I also pulled every single fuse under the hood to see if there was anything blown and no dice.

On another note, I also cannot get the TPMS light to go off no matter what I do. That may or may not be unrelated but I thought it might provide a clue to diagnosing the issue. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Also may be related info that the car battery died during the install and I had to jump it. Not sure if that reset the programming. Doesn't really make sense to me but throwing it out there.

Any help or advice would be appreciated greatly. Stealership quoted me $390 for a diagnostic so I'd really like to get this figured out on my own. Thanks guys!

the receiver I think is in the rear desk near the 3rd brake light. did you do any work around that area? as far as the TPMS, idk, could be related but I wouldn't be able to say how so.

Could try this generic rescan/sync proceedure, pull the battery, and leave it off for 15~30 minutes. reconnect the battery, put the car in acc mode (half turn) for about 30s. turn it off, crank it, let it idle for about a minute. turn it off. get out, and try your remote locks then.

Also, are the incabin buttons working, or only the physical key?

Take a look at page 42 of the attached wiring diagram. Connection A30 is for the "ID code box". It is right smack where you would have been working on the head unit and you may have unplugged it by accident. Not sure if related but the name fits the issue.
