Project "Riced-Out Scion"

ok guys, listen here now... theres been a lot of talk about scion cars being riced out and what not and i just don't agree. i want all of you to PROOVE to me that at least HALF of the scion cars you see are riced out. i will counter you and say that 98% of the scions i see in my area are clean witch little to no mods(i.e exhaust, rims, lowering springs).

so here's what i want you to do.. ride along with a friend and take a camera and take pictures of EVERY scion you see. post results here and if more than half look riced out, we can OFFICIALLY say that scion is a "riced-out" community. if its not, we never mention the term "riced-out" about scion ever again.. i will be posting scions from my area as well

Feels like this goes to off topic area...

I think you might want to reduce that percentage a little more! :bellyroll: What do you want, Calrose or Jasmine!?!

Let me start it off even though I don't take credit for partaking in any ricey nonchalant activity! :bellyroll:

pin stripe...cf hood...tC emblem on the side... VVT-i emblem in the grill...color matched eyelids... painted the oem wheels back and the DRUM ROLL...major engine mod = cold air intake! :bellyroll: :bellyroll::bellyroll::bellyroll:

Alright, I'll try to be more serious here.

Lets all admit it..we all have a different taste in cars. If you see a car thats "riced" out, just go along what you were doing and enjoy the rest of your day. These owners put a ton of work into their cars to get it to where they want it to be and people need to admire that instead of just flaming. It doesn't matter to the owner what others think of his/her car, just as long as he/she likes it themselves. If you don't like it, be polite and don't say anything.

Now lets be realistic. 50%?

well not in my area... which is why i need proof

Wait. How do I explain how drivers drive in their scions via camera shots though? Lol. Although I won't mind walking around my parking lot at uni and take pictures of cars. Rofl.

Plus.. what if I go to a car meet?

Sounds like too much work IMO.

Great idea though.

They probably mean half of the modding community. But honestly I see very few tC in my area and they are 99% stock. Civics are more common but mostly the newer (7th and 8th gen) are stock with the cheap ones that high school kids can afford being modded and/or riced.

Looking at forums is not a good representation of a cars ownership base/tendencies. People making rice comments probably are basing this one what they see online.

lol, was browsing that site and saw this car. Not sure I would call it rice, but honestly don't know what to call it...
