============================

Hello,

As of yesterday, I am the proud owner of a new Toyota 86.

I have a lot planned for her, and I can't wait to get started!

(Yes it's an AT)

I am located in the Greater Chicago Area, feel free to reach out! I'm relatively new to the area, could use some more friends. :D

First order of business is getting snow tires, since it wants to snow this coming week... in March. :brokenheart:

Nice car!

I love the white tach - much easier to see than the new BRZ dials,

Thanks man! But one of the first changes I will be making is actually the Magna Instruments F-Sport gauge cluster. I prefer how much more minimalistic it looks.

Nice! The white numbers on the speedo look good.

Looks nice! Congrats. Cute cat you have there as well.

Congrats no shame with the AT, I've been DD my 15 for a year and absolutely love it. All you really need is drop in K&N, maybe clear corners and tint then call it a day.

My first order of parts came in, very excited to install them later today!

TRD Shift Knob - One of my favorite parts I've ordered so far. Extremely high quality, and well made. Feels really solid.

I'll be adding pics after the install today. :)

My Magna Instruments cluster is coming later unfortunately, since it was "ship from factory."

Did not get to install the armrest like I wanted yesterday, but I'll probably get around to it soon.

In the meantime, I made one small mod, and got a new order in.

Nice additions to the car! Also always glad to see another local.

If you have a facebook join these two groups:

Chitown 86: This group has allot of meets, and local gathering across the chicagoland area.

Midwest 86: This group is full of very knowledgeable people in regards to performance aspect of the car. They post allot of autocross/track day event.

There are many members in both groups so you can get the best of both worlds!

Are you trying to get rid of all the white stitching in the car eventually? Half of your new parts have red stitching.

Thanks, I joined both, but Chitown 86 doesn't seem too active. My request is still pending.

Hope to see you around!

Yes, that's the plan. I might get a red fabric marker to do the ones on the doors if I don't get replacement bits too. But I'm trying to replace all the cheap, and easily replaceable parts with carbon fiber, or alcantara/leather + red stitching.

Black! Hell ya!

Is the shark fin smaller on the 17's? Yours doesn't look as obnoxious as mine.

Grats on the purchase.

Just by eye, yeah it looks smaller and more subtle.

TRD Fuel Cap installed. Just stick over the OEM piece with pre-installed adhesive.

Posted up at Touge Factory earlier. Needed to order brackets for my BRIDE ERGO II seats arriving next week. Unfortunately, only the driver's side is currently in stock. Passenger seat will be installed in April.
:sigh:

Pretty nice Genesis coupe with quad exhaust in the background though.

I literally break my neck to look back at my car every time I walk away. :brokenheart:

Feel free to follow me on the gram! @86kai.
