looks like I'm buying a Scion...lmao

have to see what the final hp numbers and weight are....damn this one looks the best out of the three concepts although I liked the taillights on the first concept the best...

That pic looks sick :eyebulge:... if the car comes out looking like this it just became my dream car

DrunkenMime 04-20-2011 11:56 AM

judging from the pictures we've seen so far, it looks like 17's and 18's will be the wheel sizes??

Other than wheels and maybe some elements of the headlight assembly, this thing looks friggin production ready.

It looks real good but ny concern is the inside i need to know what it looks like. Every other part of the car thus far has been fine and been on display.

I really don't care what they call it. A badge isn't going to make it drive any different. I'd be concerned about things that are much more relavent such as total weight. If it's 3,300 lbs I might as well buy a Genesis coupe. If it's under 3,000 just sell me one today.

tranzformer 04-20-2011 12:08 PM

How can these pics be "official" when the "official" release hasn't happened at NYIAS yet? These could be some guy that did a little photoshop and posted them online? Hachiroku, did you get these from a Toyota/Scion source?

I don't know, I'd kind of like some door handles on mine. :)

And that huge diffuser will never make to production.

Shevon 04-20-2011 12:10 PM

I stand corrected the rear still needs some TLC though Scion might actually pull this off

VenomRush 04-20-2011 12:12 PM

everyone still complaining about the badge, you can either do two things.. stop coming here to the forum, or just wait till subaru announces their car

edit:correction "stop posting in the forum, not 'stop coming'"

Serious man im tired of all these over weight cars, they make emm seem like most of the population in the US..obese haha. A light car would be perfect i hope they keep it under 3,000lbs

They probably read all the comments about debadging at a Scion marketing meeting.

Manager: "How will this save our brand? They are all just going tear off the badge first thing!"
Intern: "Stamp it into the sheet metal!"
Manager: "Capital idea! Give that man a $0.15 raise. And bump my bonus $100K for the year."
