I find myself inventing excuses just to take out on the open road. What's funny is I don't even have to push it to enjoy it. Just coasting down windy lanes is fun. It's just the feel of thing under your control. So different than driving ordinary cars with their detached steering, jumpy brakes and throttle and thrumming slushbox.

Completely agree. I find myself making excuses to go to the store and such. I also tend to take the long way.

And when I say the long way I mean I loop down to the next town using some back roads, head west out to the mountains, cut back east through the following town and cruise down main street. Then finally I end up at the shopping area up the road which conveniently is in the same town as me.....

One big damn circle for food and beer. :burnrubber:

I just did a 2 hour circle for the fun of it! I was on country roads around Grand Lake, here in New Brunswick, Canada. Had it in sport mode, got a kick out of how fast I could take corners, and how I could easily pass three card on a winding road.

Why would you baby that Evo 8? It's meant to be pushed hard.

i pushed it alot. But i dident feel the rush with it and i had to drop 8k in repairs so i sold it. If i could go back in time i would never bought the evo and kept my 95 eclipse GSX. I cried when i sold that car.

I'm at over 500 miles in a week of ownership of my BRZ. For me it's just a matter of trying to finish the break-in period so I can truly enjoy all she has to offer.

FRSGT86 07-14-2012 11:05 PM

Got mine June 1st and I'm over 2500 miles on mine.

Driving too much, with this car? I don't think there's such a thing with an FR-S!
