It's fairly straight forward since its the entire assembly. Take the door panel off while unclipping the electronics and sliding out the cable on the door handle. Then peel the plastic back carefully. You should see where the bolts to undo and then repeat in reverse.

Did you get OEM glass as a replacement?

Do I need anything else except for my glass window and tools of course ? My window Motor regulator and everything was working fine before the glass got broken so is the glass window all I need or do I need any new parts from Subaru ?

If you're careful with a razor blade you can cut the butyl adhesive and reuse the vapor barrier. That's about it.

Finally got to it today lol .. but my only problem is I took out all of the bolts and everything that I needed too to prepare to place the new window but my major issue is that I can't get the whole glass window to slide in the door so I can bolt it up ... it keeps touching the window trim so I can't slide the glass in all the way to bolt it up .. I was thinking of removing the painted aluminum part of the door but it's to much work and I know there's a way to just slide it in .. any pointers will be wonderful .. I was going back tom to see what can be done wanted to post here first
