Excessive oil in PCV side air/oil separator
I'm running an AVO turbo kit with their upgraded turbo PCV Valve. Originally I was using the AVO breather tank system but recently swapped it out for a dual Jegs Air/Oil separator setup.
This setup consists of one separator on the PCV side and one on the breather side. It's routed in a similar manner as the dual Radium kits:
Since installing these Jegs separators I've noticed that the PCV side separator fills up with oil after only 20 minutes of normal city driving, the breather side stays dry. What could be causing the PCV circuit to be pulling so much oil? The only thing I can think of is when I had the AVO setup, the PCV circuit air flow was diluted between the breather tank and block. Now, all the air going into the PCV is directly from the block Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated |
