Even with a JRSC on the BRZ, the 350Z wins a drag but I think the BRZ will probably beat it on a track (especially if the track is more about the curves than straights.). The 350Z has so much more torque especially on the lower RPMs. The BRZ handles better but the 350Z can make up for some of the handling because of being able to use the torque to compensate for the handling deficiencies as compared to the BRZ. Same tires on both (PSS).

theres no way, i have the JRSC in my 15 brz and it hauls ass. Ive walked RT challengers and 5.0's, i mean i do have other mods but I have a hard time believing the 350 can pull the brz when the brz is F/I

For the JRSC, it doesn't really kick in until you get to 4k rpm. The 350z has very noticeable torque below 2K rpm and picks up very well in that rpm range, noticeably better than the BRZ. So I can't really say where the BRZ will catch the 350Z since the 350Z pulls quicker from a start and the BRZ has to catch up. If you are seeing which car gets to 45 or 50mph quicker, I have to say my 350Z. After that I can see the BRZ taking over. From the dyno, the JRSC gave me 50% increase in HP, 40% in torque. I don't know your set-up and what your gains are.

So, OP, where are you taking him for lunch and dinner? You know- dinner AND lunch, people will talk.... LOL

You're short 2 cylinders! If his tires are trashed and you have nice new Michelin Pilot Sports, maybe you have a chance on the [closed....] back road. What do you know the town manager and he closed the road for you? I assume?

The more important question is- if you are doing all this on open public roads- who's buying the caskets?

Youre gonna be buying him lunch you might as well buy him lunch right now and save you some gas.

ATs are a FULL second slower in 0-60 time compared to an MT,

He'd probably win at the track too, I don't have much faith in our stock tires, and his car is old so I'm pretty sure he's still not using the same tires for over 10 years.

If you wanna take him you're gonna need some boost,

Heres a stock VQ35 dyno from Google Images

Where did you get ur brz tuned and are you testing it in humid hotter weather? My brz is right at 286hp with the JRSC(91) + UEL headers and a cat back. I noticed it becomes sluggish in warmer weather (obviously with F/I) but when my car is running at the right temp I feel instant torque all the way through til max 7psi. Not to mention stock internals, been dailying it for a year now and no issues other than a minor boost leak that i fixed in a parking lot.

A full second slower? That's a huge difference

Are we not talking about drag racing here?
