2017 Rear BRZ Badges

Is it my imagination, or have the 2017 rear badges been repositioned with a downward slope to them?

I have seen pics of older models where the badges seem horizontal.

The slope seems to be following the line of the boot but it doesn't look right to me. The horizontal layout seems to look much better.

Sorry. I kinda meant the name badges, ie 'Subaru' and 'BRZ'

I'm pretty sure that the positioning of those badges varies from car to car. Some are horizontal as you mentioned, others slant upward (like on my car before I removed them). They're literally just stuck to the car with tape, probably by hand, so you would expect there to be slight differences.

Looks like its just the camera lens and angle of picture. The tails look like theyre sloped too.

I have purchased these badges before and they actually come inside of a foam template that lines up in against the tail light and the edges of the trunk lid, so I am to assume that the positioning is pretty much set, plus or minus a mil or two of error. I am going to assume its either the viewing angle, or the 17's actually do have a revised badge position.

I noticed the same thing when I got my 17 the other day. It looked odd to me.

I plan to debadge mine if someone wants my badges haha

from the picture above the position looks similar to 2015 models
