Koni Yellow Rebound Settings
My car will be used quite a lot for autocross this year and am wondering what a good base line is for the rebound settings with the stock (non-TRD) springs.
I'm quite aware of what adjusting the front/rear shock rebound does in terms of fine tuning the handling, but not sure where the proper baseline is. I'm guessing it is quite close to full soft with the OEM springs, seeing as most of the guys I've seen are running .5-1.5 from soft on the stiffer TRD springs. Anyone have any idea where they should be at for proper dampening? |
set it at the softest and go from there. it will take some fine tuning since your driving style will be different than someone else's. what works for someone else might not work for you, even if they have the exact mods.

To increase understeer/stability at corner-entry, increase rear rebound*
To increase oversteer/agility at corner-exit, increase front rebound* And vice versa. It's really more complicated than that (one thing here affects another thing there), but it's basically what these settings do. *) for low-speed damper settings (not vehicle speed!) |
