Wheel spacers
 

Shopping around for wheel spacers, specifically 20mm and 25mm. Why such an huge price range?? Eibachs or Perrins are in the $150 to $160 range... or I can get some thru Amazon for $100 less!! What is so special about the more expensive ones?

Quality.

Material grade, stud strength, hub-centric, etc. It's not something you want to fail..

That is what I figured as well too... but the $100 difference in price seems a bit over the top IMO. Especially for a DD.

I thought about starting a thread on this.. I'm glad someone else did.
I am not concerned about price at all, but differences. I have been looking at Eibach and b2autodesign. Is the core difference between the 2 the alloy materials? Any comments on the differences between the Eibach and the b2autodesign besides asking price would be appreciated.

I can't really comment on the properties of either material, but I ran spacers for a few months last year and I had B2autodesigns 15mm in the front and Eibach 25mm in the rear. Both were great while I had them. The B2sutodesigns were heavier than the Eibach though. I believe B2 was steel and Eibach was an aluminum alloy.

Get new wheels and not need them anymore, or stopped using them for some other reason?

Along with some lower profile lug nuts up front. Its amazing how much of a difference in appearance 3/4" in front and 1" in rear make!!

How are those working out for you? I'd like to use the spacers for the next several months until I can afford to grab the wheel/tire combo I want...but if it's going to cost a few hundred for some spacers...I'll just pass and wait till I can get the wheels I want.
