OFT on AT

Has anyone ran into any problems with the openflash tablet on the automatic transmission? I heard about some people getting a transmission code.

No issues with me.

P0700 is the code I've always gotten after flashing. Just erase the code and you're good to go.

I have run the OFT on my AT '13 FRS for almost 2 years now without any problems. I have probably flashed 10+ times, and never had the transmission error code pop up.

I recently used it on16frs, works great, CEL comes on with p0700 only when I reflash... like other guy said, just clear it...problem solved.

I had the code as well, came on after installing my UEL headers and then flashing. The AT exhibited these slow shifts, and sloppy downshifts. It went away after driving about 20kms, and the AT was back to normal :)

The code happens when the TCU loses connection to the ECU during flashing. It's normal and does not indicate any issues. Doesn't happen even time, either. I've flashed in the neighborhood of 50 tunes and have only seen it a few times.

Powerband changes can result in "abrupt" shifts where wheel torque no longer matches what the ECU expects it to be. Seems to only affect low RPM low acceleration upshifts, and nobody has solved this yet.

After you cleared the code did you have any problems with the shifting?
