FR-S electrical issues...

Is anyone experiencing this? I recently installed a 55w HID kit in this car but the car's power doesn't like the kit for some reason, so i was told to use the relay harness. Okay I got that...but now toyota is having trouble installing an alarm in this car. The tech told me these cars have very sensitive and thin wire system....

HI, Did you ever get your HID resolved? I'm planing of replacing my Scion FR-S headlights with 55W 6000K AC but I'm not sure if 55W will really work. Otherwise I'll be getting the 35W instead. Also, would H11 is all we need or I do have to specify if it's a high beam or low beam when I'm doing my purchase? Would appreciate any inputs. Thanks Kurtkarl

It sounds like the tech is blowin smoke. I would recommed using a relay harness. Last think u need is a short because you didnt get a 10-15 dollar harness. I dont see a reason why hids would cause an issue installing an alarm system, especially if you use a relay harness.
