the broken record that is autojourno coverage

autoblog posts an article about the 10 coupes you can buy in north america for under 30k.

next to some real power monsters like the smart fortwo, honda civic and kia koup - they pick out the 86 as one that you should save money for a turbo/sc.

dear automotive journalists, try having an original thought one of these years. it might serve you well. the copy and paste shortcuts on your keyboards are getting tired.

You actually read the shit that comes out of autoblog?
I always took it as a auto mag version of the onion, but with more car nerds. You know those "people" that tell you every spec about a car but they all drive automatic fwd sedans/suvs.

I just read the article and I don't understand why you are so upset??

They wrote the car is fun to drive, and listed dealership add-ons. Afterwards saying that the money might be better spent on forced induction instead.

:) I'm glad I went turbo in my second BRZ. *thumbs up*

Motoring.com.au said the 2018 was going to be turbocharged from the factory.

I would be upset if the BRZ is without a flux capacitor and can't fly by next year.

Jalopnik also teased something similar.

I'm surprised no one's talking about it more.

I can only assume people have moved on from this car. They'll perk up when there's an official announcement but for there to be two sources saying this and no one talking about it -- even on this board for the most part -- is pretty crazy.

I didn't see anything wrong with what was said either even though I do agree that at least 75% of all online articles regarding automobiles are complete rubbish especially from autoblog..

I just reviewed my 2017 as far as just speed and acceleration. My thoughts are reviewers are either in bed with after market performance tuners or they just cant drive or both.

BTW I just read the article and its very old..
