Does the Brz/frs/86 still draw attention?

So I use to own a Brz and my cousin the frs, when It was still fresh into the american market, and I had plenty of people asking about it, or guys and girls just staring it down. 5 years later is that still the same factor or is it getting less attention than it use to.

Hello, there Honghac04 and welcome to posting to ...... The Forum ......

I've had my FR-S for about 4 years and it is essentially stock.

I still get about 2-3 favorable comments a week ...... and during the winter, I just drive around town.

The folks in my neighborhood call me the guy with the "cool sports car".

Just yesterday several boys were walking by my opened garage door and commented that my FR-S was "neat".

The pretty girl at the pharmacy always ask if I was driving my "sports car".

Several young folks at the Jack-in-the box drive through, will ask if it's a FR-S or BRZ.

Understand that Puyallup is a cow town of only about 40,000 people and I've only seen 2 other twins in this town. ...... mostly pick-up tracks and soccer moms in SUVs.......:D

Over time it will probably draw less attention as it loses the novelty and the ones on road start to really show their age.

However, it's a very nice looking car and that's not going to change. Decades from now, I can imagine a very well maintained twin commanding attention.

Depends where you live. I usually see at least one everytime I leave the house. If i go to the bay area I see at least 10. Novelty wears off

I took my car the get detailed last weekend. One of the guys was detailing another car, and when he finished he came straight over to me. He was drooling all over it and asked me about all my mods. So yeah, it still draws attention after almost 5 years.

Attracts dudes like moths to a light.

It really depends on the Car. I've had a Grey BRZ for a couple of years and I'm getting less compliments then a year or two back. Son just picked up a Yellow Series 1 FR-S, and that thing gets looks and compliments each time he's out.

Hell yes it does. I suppose if you live in a well populated area, it becomes "less rare". Even living in Seattle and working in an area with very expensive luxury cars, I still get looks my way. Last week, some dude stopped in the middle of a cross walk, pulled out his phone, and started taking pics. I'm just like.... >_> seriously??

sure, it gets the looks but who cares, it ain't a chick magnet

Yes, this my TRD GT86 on display with @Tech's TRD86 and a 2017 TRD86 yesterday at the New Zealand Grand Prix - run in Toyota TRS cars.

This was early in the day.

For some reason, guys at the meet look at mine than FRS/BRZ.

In a serious note, FRS is still a cool car and got lot of people attention.
