Possible to rebuild FA20 in aluminum?

Hey guys I was reading about some car stuff on the internet and I was wondering if its possible to rebuild the FA20 in aluminum? The whole engine ideally. Thoughts?

I thought the engine was already mostly aluminum .......??

I don't reckon the crankshaft, cylinder sleeves or valves would last long made of Al.

It's already an Aluminum block and Aluminum Heads. If you're talking about Billet Aluminum, then maybe you should contact somebody like Mazworx. Then promptly say a prayer for your checkbook. Their Billet JZ block is 10k USD IIRC.

I was reading and watching videos of hypercars and Koenigsegg's One:1 and I found out the engine was a twin turbo V8 made of full aluminum and a carbon fiber intake manifold. I was so excited in this find as bleeding edge technology I forgot to verify the material the existing engine was made out of and what made it so special to the 86 platform. My apologies.

I'd go for leading edge technology. Might not be any cheaper but it has to be easier to live with.

I mean is this just for boost purposes??? Cause I'd personally like one made out of carbon fiber. Help out with weight reduction. Oh and before some uneducated people laugh;yes, they make carbon engines. Don't beleive be just look it up. Possible for the fa20? I don't c why not.

It's really not that special. My ~50 year old Porsche (pic on left) has an Aluminum Block, Aluminum heads, Aluminum pistons and you can even buy Aluminum Cylinders (Nickies) and a Magnesium Alloy case on the transmission.
