LS Headers
I know there's an issue with Vorshlag headers and sway bar.. I will buy headers and they will be custom fitted to the car. I don't know if I should buy shorties or buy longtube... Any one of the people who have completed the swap have any recommendations?

Try Weapons Grade. They clear the sway bar and fit in the chassis. Just a bit expensive though

Super expensive. If it is only 5-10, Go for it. I am having a hard time choosing for mine as well.

I remember JDL made some absolutely gorgeous headers, but their pics don't work anymore.

Even if you had to bash some GM headers to "clearance" then it won't kill any power. So if there are any out there that may be close enough I'd probably go that route.

Modified Hooker block hugger headers clearing a factory sway bar. https://www.holley.com/products/ls_p.../parts/2312HKR http://i.imgur.com/Qcko1EU.jpg http://i.imgur.com/iisMUCS.jpg http://i.imgur.com/SwVAd9s.jpg Car will be racing all weekend at Road Atlanta in the American Endurance Series. They just got it running on Wednesday... https://www.instagram.com/p/BQQS2hLFxbH/ WGP swap kit was purchased but very little of it ended up being used. A lot of re-fabrication and needed to parts of the swap kit that were used. |
God I hope my car sounds that good.

If only these merged at 3" instead of 2.5". Not sure how big of a deal that is, but Vorshlag and WGP Both terminate at 3". These are 1 7/8in Tubing as well. |
I saw that setup when I was at Solo on Thursday for CAN things on that car. Good header setup.
|
are people really concerned about the 2.5 vs 3"? you could make a Y pipe that goes to 3" no? I would think that 2x 3" to a 3" Y would flow as much as 2x 2.5" to 3" as the 3" Y can only flow so much. am I wrong?
