Question about your FR-S title

I went to title and register my FR-S today. I received a title that has Toy (Toyota) as the Make and Sci (Scion) as the model without FR-S mentioned anywhere. In the Manufactuer's Certificate of Origin (MCO), the manufactuer is listed as Toyota and the model is Scion FR-S and it seems like the title only shows the first 3 characters so thats why my title appears the way it does. Is this the same for everybody? I just find it strange that if this is the case, no Scion cars will actually have the correct model listed in the title. :iono:

The title paperwork for me showed the manufacturer as Toyota and the model as Scion FR-S.

Thanks. That sounds about right then. In NJ they only use the first 3 characters and that is why the make is TOY and model is SCI. Can't understand why they have to limit to 3 characters. What happens if there are 2 manufactures that has the same first 3 characters in their name :iono:
