Konig Rims

Anyone know about these rims? I am putting them on a stock 2013 FRS. Any info would be great. Thanks

well they are round... and CarID is a terrible place to buy things.

If you're looking at Konigs check out the Hypergram. It's the lightest thing they make and available in a 17x9 as well as an 18x8.5. hit up Kevin Ket on facebook if you're lookign for wheels.

This thread reminded me that back in the day Konig Toxxins were the shit.

+1 on hypergrams. You'll be amazed how light they are for the price. I almost bought a set last month, but went a different direction. But 17x8's can be had for 600 shipped, it's insanely good for the value.

Konig wheels haven't been too popular in a while, but they generally build strong stuff, so I wouldn't fear running these like I might with some XXr/etc as many have had issues with.

I agree. CarID is a terrible place to buy things.

I bought my Konigs from them. They told me they were in stock. Took 4 months to get them.

OP, I have Konig Oversteer wheels. I had Konig Caffeine, and Konig Appeal in the past. I like the price, overall quality, and look. I had a clear coat issue on my first set. Not on my newest set. They seemed to have fixed the issue.

I also like the Hypergram, which was released after I bought my wheels, or I may have ended up with a set of 18x8.5s.

Good luck!

I'm getting the Hypergrams on Monday in 17x9 I'll snag some pictures as soon as they're on and put them up here.

Unfortunately this is one of the only pictures I have of them, my car got hit the morning after I got them on so it's sitting in pieces now. They at least had the common decency to not wreck the wheels.

Konigs are great - Low price, relatively low weight, good design, hold up well, I'm surprised more owners don't run them. I've been running 17x8 on MPSS daily for a year now and they still look like new, and grip 10x better than the stock setup.

for the older crowd, back in the days around the 90s, konig was like the XXR of the current time. blatant, heavy, crappy replicas of Volk/Sparco/Advan wheels...

As I am part of the "older :(" crowd, I remember those days well lol. It's somewhat surprising to me that everyone I've encountered, young-ish and older alike, loves my wheels, but have never heard of Konig.
In my opinion, their current offerings definitely strike the right balance between price and quality (my current set of Oversteer's weigh just a hair under stock, are an inch wider, and were just under $300 shipped to Hawaii; it's hard to beat that combination :party0030:)
