Opti-guard / Opti-coat detailers in Richmond?
 

Do any of you guys know of a good detailer in the Richmond area that applies Opti-coat? I've been looking but no luck so far.

Check with the guys in the Cosmetic Maintenance sub-forum. One of the detailers in their has been pointing people to local guys in their areas, I can't remember his screen name off the top of my head though. I know he listed some in NOVA.

Did you ever find anyone?

CarPool's detail shop on broad st said they do it, however I decided to go with this guy: http://www.tlcautodetail.com/

He is in NoVA and will travel to do it, he's coming down to richmond in 2 weeks to do mine, actually.

Thanks! I'll check that guy out. My BRZ arrives in two weeks and I've decided not to let my dealer wash/wax it. TLC auto looks like the perfect place to get my car initially detailed and opti-coated.

I've driven past that CarPool plenty of times; I figured they could do it but it just doesn't seem like the place you would want to get it done. To me at least...

Off topic: were you driving down Broad St. Friday night? I think I saw you near the VCU campus area.

Maybe if your BRZ comes in before the 8th he can do yours after he does mine, saving on the trip and cutting back on the travel costs.

Car pool is more then qualified! The owner Gina Budhi is one of the most knowledgable people in this business.:thumbsup:

Did you ever get it done? Emailed http://www.tlcautodetail.com/ and he quoted $550. I want to get it sooner than later just checking my bank account first.
