Tein Mono Sports vs... Something similar?

looking at a few options and it seems these fill a somewhat unique spot in the market for price and what they offer. Looking at mostly drift and some other track use, wont be a daily. I like the monos spring rates and the general package.

Anything similar in the 2k price range? fortune auto 510s offer custom spring rates so i can match the 8k/9k if I wanted, but I can actually pick up the Monosports for less.

other suggestions before i pull the trigger?

Look at Parts Shop Max Pro coilovers. You can choose the spring rates (i have 8/8 instead of the stock 8/6) and they are considerably cheap for the quality, because they cut the middle man.

They are very similar to the Mono sport, but a good 400 dollars cheaper because of it

How do the spring rates work you?

At first i got them in 8/6, like they come in standard form. The car was SUPER STABLE, behaved like a 4WD almost, perfectly balanced. However, I missed it being tail happy like it is from factory, plus I like drifting, so I decided to step it up in the rear to 8k.

Now (8/8)... it's soooo much fun, but i guess some people could argue that its too tail happy.

If you liked how the car behaved on primacys, you'll love it at 8k/8k. Or, you could offset it with strut bars, sway bars, etc, but I preferred to get the spring rates right instead of spending on other parts

Another option on the table will be the MeisterR GT1 coilovers.

Below is a picture of the MeisterR GT1 coilovers for an Lancer Evolution.

The MeisterR GT1 uses CNC internal that are design and made in house at our workshop in UK.
They are custom build for each customer's application, and will be assemble either in our workshop in UK or USA.

Their MSRP is $2250, but are on an intro offer at $1995 shipped.
If you are interested, I am sure we can work something out as we are trying push the GT1 out to the market at the moment.

Love my Tein Monosport, they have stiff springs (which is what I was looking for) but you wouldn't know. They ride like a quality coilover. They have also been great for the track and autox.
