Catted UEL headers

So i've been looking into Catted UEL headers.

Currently i'm running The Namless Axelback 3" with 5" Mufflers, WORKS Resonated Mid-pipe, JDL Ultra Quiet Front pipe.

Love the sound. Now i threw my OFH on there and they sound awesome. However the noise volume is an issue.

I've looked at two catted UEL headers. the JDL catted headers and the FT86Speedfactory headers. Both are around the same price.

Goals: Love how my setup sounds with the UEL rumble, however volume is an issue. I'm not too worried about power gains as i'm running an Edelbrock SC so gaining that extra 10-15hp is not super important to me. I care more about the volume at this point.

What are your guys' thoughts on these two headers? Are there any others you might recommend? Thanks in advance!

volume is an issue meaning too loud?

Go JDL. They are more similar in sound to the OFH than FT86SF imo. But both are quality products

Yeah, put my OFH in and literally a day later i got an official noise complaint. Granted my exhaust used to be louder (muffler delete and one less cat) i think this kinda tipped the iceberg.

You are welcome to give my catted JDL another listen sometime. Tough to beat with the thermal coating and lifetime warranty for around $1000. I have a stock front pipe and Perrin 2.5" resonated. It's pretty quiet.

Because of the performance gains from a catless header, I would rather change to a quieter catback then get a compromised-by-design catted header.

Well see i'm not super worried about gains as i'm boosted. The extra 10-15 hp i can live without. And i'm pretty sure catted headers dont make you lose power
