Vibrant ultra quiet resonator
Wow, I had this installed into my ft86 V1 catback today, I'm seriously impressed with the amount of rasp this little resonator cut. I HATED my exhaust note before this and was leary of header making it worse. Now, with my hks dual resonated front pipe and this little resonator, I'm excited to get my header and overpipe.
tl;dr If you have rasp in your exhaust, this resonator is worth every penny. |
Can you provide a picture from the bottom of the car? Also where you installed, on the midpipe?
|
I should be able to get one up a little later today, if not tomorrow. Also, if worse comes to worse I'll get a pic when it's lifted for the header install.

It's located basically in the middle of the pipe. Had to maneuver the pipe slightly to fit the resonator. |
Which model is this one? I am interested in installing one of these to help with the rasp of my ACE A350 header combo. Would you also recommend getting a DRFP as well? Or would this suffice in cutting down the rasp?

thatfilipinoguy: different headers may benefit of resonators for different frequencies. All exhaust bits play together. Imho better browse around ace related threads or ask CSG guys, which other bits are advised and play well with A/350.

I just installed the vibrant resonator to my exhaust. im running a catless p&l header catless one piece over front pipe and magnaflow catback and before there was way too much rasp and it droned anything over 3k. and now all i can say is wow it sounds like it only has a catback and the rest is stock
